Big Feelings : Little Bodies

A 3-part series for Parents of 0-7 years old

In this interactive psychologist-led discussion series, you will reflect on the developmental leaps and unique personalities of your children, as well as learn/practice effective strategies to respond to their needs. Amy Vigliotti PhD, Child Psychologist and Founding Head of the NYC group practice SelfWorks, will help empower you for those daily parenting challenges. As a parent of two preschoolers, Amy is well-versed in the chaos that accompanies parenting little ones.

Participants will learn to better

  • Understand your child and their unique developmental needs

  • Prepare for separations or other challenges with more confidence and ease

  • Note how stress/anxiety manifests in yourself and your child

  • Practice stress/anxiety reduction strategies

  • Share skills with your child to support their social-emotional development


WORKSHOP DETAILS

  • A 3-part series for Parents of 0-7 years old

  • First session: Tuesday, March 19th @ 5:30 pm

  • Registration fee - parent or caregiver $60 per session (childcare for 1 child included in the price, your child will be chaperoned by The Play Lab staff and will play in the playspace!)

  • We offer FREE child care for your little ones!

  • All parents and caregivers are welcome!
