In the whirlwind of parenting, finding time for yourself is tough. Our event carves out a space for you to journal, meditate, and learn practical wellness tips you can squeeze in at home - however mad things get!
This week, UK based children’s illustrator Nicola Holdsworth will lead a mindful art class, where you can create a beautiful yet simple project that you can enjoy time and time again at home, on your own or with the kids. Lose yourself in the project, collage or simply enjoy the array of art supplies available and see just how relaxing getting creative (no talent required) can be!
As always, we’ll have plenty of prompts for journaling, time to share with other parents and plenty of space for quiet reflection. We’ll also share a meditation with all attendees, created just for us by Kate Pastorek.
About Mindful Meetups
Join the wriggle and moments for a short series of events designed to give some time & space. We’ll provide prompts & materials for self guided meditation, journaling and reflection, while your kids enjoy free open play nearby. The session is just one hour and you can use the time however you like: Pick up our prompts & journal? Grab a conversation card & share experiences with another parent? Sit quietly & try the meditation we’ll share in advance, or even just put your phone away and play mindfully with your child!
