Ready for early reading skills?

Come & discover the joy & critical importance of phonics in this fun-filled mixed age taster class.

Friends for Phonics is an exciting new program put together by former Early Years specialist and literacy coordinator, Alexandra Beviss. From September, she’ll be hosting weekly sessions in McCarren Park enabling children aged 1 - 4.5 to discover phonics and develop early language skills.

She’s hosting a pop up class on August 26th at McCarren Park to give parents and kids a chance to try it out and see what phonics is all about!

Why care about phonics?

Phonics form the foundation of language & literacy and mastering them early helps build early skills and confidence, leading to a strong foundation and love for reading. These fun lessons can make all the difference!
