Meet Marissa!
Marissa is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist based in Brooklyn, NY. She specializes in nurturing the emotional well-being of parents, young children, pre/post natal moms, and women’s health.
Her primary clinical focus is based in the sensory system (aka central nervous system) and its effects on our emotional experience and neurology throughout the life span. In short, she is a neurodiverse creative arts therapist who specializes in working with neurodiverse humans from birth to retirement. Marissa works closely with Occupational Therapist and supports family and children.
In her spare time Marissa is an education advocate and elected member of the NYC DOE Community Education Council District 14. In her education advocacy, she is relentless in pushing our education systems to put social, emotional, and sensory development at the forefront of how we engage students in the classroom.
