Spanish Sounds #1 !

Last week a group of us got together for our very first Spanish Sounds session with teacher Karina Voces.

Gathered on cosy blankets on the floor of the oh so cool McCarren Parkhouse a few of us with kids aged 5 months ( a bit young!) to 6 years gathered for our first Spanish sounds session. The aim of this session is to learn phonics and master the basics of the Spanish Language, learning through play and supporting each other’s learning. In true Montessori style the older kids helped the little ones and we all got stuck in.

To keep us going, we had delicious snacks provided by The Superhero box and buckets of coffee from Blank Street on the opposite side of the parkhouse, packing up just in time to let the football fans in for their screening!

These sessions are going to be a regular staple in 2023, hosted at 9am on Friday’s for children aged 6 months to 6 years, with up to 12 children per session. If you’d like to attend drop us an email via hello@thewriggle.com and we’ll make sure you’re the first to know when tickets go live.
