Born and raised on the Lower East Side of New York City, Willie Devargas fell in love with music as a child as he was immersed in the diversity of the city and exposed to sounds from all over the world.

What was a musical hobby turned into a true passion through his role as an early childhood music educator once he saw how his original music sparked his students to dance, clap, smile, and open up in new ways. He was hooked and inspired to create more music that shares positive messages about life and our world in a way that is simple and empowering for our youngest children and with rhythm that all ages can appreciate.
